Big Milestones, New Beginnings and a Life Designed with Intention

As the new year begins, I’m reflecting on some of the incredible—and at times, bittersweet—milestones that have marked my journey recently.


✨ Launching Figueroa Coaching

I’m thrilled to open the doors to Retirement Design life coaching, helping ‘almost retirees’ craft lives filled with purpose, joy, and alignment.


✨ Honoring My Mom

Navigating the loss of my mom has been one of the hardest chapters of my life. I’m so grateful for the love of family and the compassionate caregivers who supported her and us during that time.


✨ Rising to the Challenge

I embraced my personal goal of writing and delivering six sermons for my faith community. Sharing my heart and faith has been deeply humbling and rewarding.


✨ Becoming an Origami Artist

I took a creative leap and showcased my art at my FIRST Craft Fair! Folding paper into beauty has always brought me peace, and now it’s bringing joy to others too.


✨ Embracing Entrepreneurship

After 25 years in a full-time role, I’ve made the bold decision to transition into entrepreneurship! The future is both exciting and uncertain, but I’m ready to design this next chapter.


Through it all, I’ve been reminded of the power of a design mindset—one that encourages trying, learning, and iterating. Designing your life is about courageously stepping into the unknown, embracing the freedom to experiment, and discovering what truly works for YOU.


To everyone out there dreaming of their “third chapter” or a fresh start: you don’t have to have all the answers—just the willingness to design your way forward.
